Botox for Chronic migraine has been given at Poole Hospital since 2014, first by Dr Mark Cossburn, and then by Dr Peter Grenholm. Becki Tyler started doing the injections in 2019 and has since completed her ACP degree while introducing anti-CGRP treatment. Since 2023 we also have clinics in Bournemouth and Dorchester. We’re currently trying to find ways to work closer with primary care, which is especially important in view of the long waitlists.<\/p>\n

Dr Peter Grenholm, B. Sc, M.D,\u00a0 first completed a degree in mathematics and philosophy in Uppsala, Sweden, before switching to medical training at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. He has done research in complex analysis, machine learning and movement disorders. He led the dystonia clinic in Uppsala Academic Hospital, before moving first to Hamilton, New Zealand in 2014 and then to Poole in 2016. He also chairs the UHD Clinical Ethics Group.<\/p>\n

Becki Tyler, ACP. Headache Nurse who previously worked in ICU, and now works one day a week in primary care. She also does botox injections for dystonia.<\/p>\n
